Alia Bhatt talks about Raha Kapoor’s deep love for animals; says, “She has a natural love and excitement around them”

Actress Alia Bhatt is currently immersed in the promotional activities for her upcoming web series Poacher, where she serves as an executive producer. The series, inspired by real-life events, offers viewers a glimpse into the lives of forest officials as they uncover an ivory poaching ring. In a recent interview with The Hindu, Alia delved into her decision to support the project and shed light on her daughter Raha's profound connection with nature.

During an interview with The Hindu, Alia articulated her belief in the inherent bond between children and nature, emphasizing the sense of tranquillity and harmony that comes from being around animals. Observing her daughter Raha's natural affinity for wildlife, Alia remarked, “When you are a child, you naturally connect with nature and you feel a sense of calm around animals and I am seeing this first hand literally witnessing my daughter grew up around animals and she has a natural love and excitement around them. Over the couple of years when you grow up, your mind gets filled with school and life and it all gets cluttered. There is a scientific explanation that when you see green, your body releases dopamine and there is a natural sense of calmness that you feel.”

On the film front, fans eagerly anticipate Ranbir and Alia’s upcoming collaboration in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. Set to release on Christmas next year, the multi-starrer also features Vicky Kaushal. This project holds immense significance as it marks the reunion of SLB and Ranbir Kapoor after 17 years, reminiscent of their collaboration in the film Saawariya. Moreover, it marks Alia’s second collaboration with the filmmaker following Gangubai Kathiawadi.
