Bobby Deol reveals Dharmendra’s reaction to Animal’s success: “My dad said to me – ‘Sab log tere deewane ho rahe hai’”

Bobby Deol continues to remain in the spotlight following the success of Animal, which was released in December 2023. From events to award shows, his renaissance has been something people enjoy. More than the fans, it is his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, who has been showering him with praises.

In conversation with Zoom TV, Bobby Deol said that Dharmendra had the sweetest reaction to all the accolades and reactions he is receiving post Animal. “When Animal released and I came home, my dad said to me – because he loves social media – ‘Sab log tere deewane ho rahe hai’ (People are going crazy for you). I said ‘Papa, main aapka beta hoon, deewane nahi honge to kya hoge.’ (Papa I am your son, of course they would go crazy.) It was a very special moment for me.”

The actor also said that he is thankful to everyone for their love and support. “There are so many nice people in this industry. When Animal released, the kind of love I got from this industry was so beautiful, so special. Everyone didn't need to call me. I feel our industry is so amazing. It's just that sometimes social media makes it sound different,” he said.
